Our Story
From a teenager learning Linux in India to a globally trusted cloud hosting provider — this is our journey.
Fluxhosting is an India-based cloud hosting company built from the ground up by a passionate team that genuinely lives and breathes infrastructure. We don't just sell servers — we understand every layer of what runs on them, because we built our knowledge from scratch.
What started as a self-taught Linux adventure at age 16 became a real hosting business in 2020, and after years of grinding, learning, failing, and improving — we officially launched publicly and globally in 2024. Two years into our public chapter, we're proud of how far we've come.
Today we serve clients across the globe with cloud VPS, dedicated hosting, game servers, and advanced DDoS protection — all backed by a 650+ member community and a dedicated team that actually cares.
How It All Started
Every great company has a real story. Ours starts with a teenager, a terminal, and a dream.
At just 16 years old, our founder booted into Linux for the very first time. What started as curiosity — typing commands into a terminal, breaking things, fixing them — quickly turned into a deep obsession. Hours were spent learning how servers work, how networking functions, and how the internet actually runs under the hood. No courses, no certifications — just raw self-taught passion.
After months of learning Linux, the focus shifted to real infrastructure — setting up web servers, experimenting with VPS deployments, understanding firewalls, DNS, and DDoS mitigation. This was the year the foundation of what would become Fluxhosting was quietly being built, one terminal command at a time.
In 2020, what was a passion project officially became a business. Fluxhosting launched in India — offering hosting services to early clients, mostly through word of mouth and online communities. The first few servers were spun up, the first tickets were answered, and the first real challenges began. Resources were limited, but determination wasn't.
These were the hardest years — and the most important ones. Server outages, infrastructure scaling issues, client onboarding problems, and the grind of running a hosting business almost entirely lean. But every challenge taught something new. The community began to grow, Prem joined the team as HR and quickly became a cornerstone of day-to-day operations, and the Discord server started pulling in tech enthusiasts and clients alike. The team slowly expanded with people who shared the same passion for cloud infrastructure.
After three years of building, testing, failing, and improving — Fluxhosting officially launched globally to the public in 2024. The brand was refined, the infrastructure was solid, and the service lineup expanded to cover all types of cloud hosting: VPS, dedicated servers, game servers, and enterprise-grade DDoS protection. The public launch marked the beginning of a new era.
Two years after the public launch, Fluxhosting has crossed over 700 servers and VPS deployments for clients worldwide, and our Discord community has grown to 700+ members — a mix of technology enthusiasts, developers, and clients who trust us with their infrastructure. We're still the same team that started with Linux at 16, just a lot more experienced, and a lot more committed to delivering the best hosting experience possible.
